I'm very excited to announce the launch of Van Isle Images. Since developing my skills as a photographer, I have become passionate about capturing the beauty that Vancouver Island and the surrounding area has to offer. I still have a long way to go on my photography journey and view this as a never ending, and exciting passion project- one that I hope to share with all of those that discover my work and the magic and beauty of Vancouver Island.

Throughout my travels you can expect to find everything from hidden wonders, some well known areas to, some not-so-well known areas, and everything in between. Along the way I will talk about the locations I go to, and share stories and experiences of the moments captured and displayed on my site.

I am lucky enough to live in Nanaimo which keeps me fairly central. Day trips to Tofino, Victoria, Port Renfrew, and beyond are all within my grasp. This has provided a real advantage to my hobby as I get to work in such a rich and beautiful environment. The opportunities provided here have allowed my talents and passion for photography flourish.

I have chosen to showcase my photos as prints on canvas. I've found that to be the perfect medium as it not only provides a way to show off the beautiful sights captured, but also creates a sense of depth and texture that can't be achieved otherwise. As my craft develops I will be venturing into various other mediums to share my perspective through the lens, and I can't wait to share the adventures with all of you.
